acai berry can improve vision

In World War 2, it is said that many of the pilots (mainly British pilots) used to consume lots of bilberry jam. They used to have this jam specifically before missions that were very hard on the eyes; especially those that took place at night.

The pilots claimed that it made their vision much better. In Japan, this same jam is used among people who have extreme eye strain due to staring at a computer screen for extended hours.

Now, recent studies have shown that the exact antioxidant that is present in the bilberry jam, which is known as anthocyanins, is found in abundance the acai berry: the acai berry is said to be even better than the bilberry jam.

Not only does the acai berry improve vision, but it also fights several eye diseases. Some of these eye diseases include glaucoma (disease that damages optic nerve in the eye and distorts vision, and may lead to blindness) and macular degeneration (disease in the retina of eye which leads to the loss of central vision). Even for those who wear glasses, having acai berry regularly could possibly improve your vision. It will not, of course, fix your vision completely, but it will help in the long run.
