Many will say that all drugs are bad for you, no matter what. Those people would be surprised to learn of the hidden properties of the hallucinogenic Salvia Divinorum. Salvia Divinorum is a native of Mexico, is part of the sage family, and is the cousin of the Salvia plants that many Americans have in their gardens. Not only is the Salvia naturally occurring it is also widely available throughout the United States and, perhaps more importantly, over the Internet.
Salvia Divinorum’s active ingredient Salvinorin A affects the brain in the same way the morphine and other Opioids do: this behavior, says Dr.; Bryan Roth of Case Western Reserve University, is “quite remarkable and unprecedented among naturally occurring drugs of abuse”.
There’s more: reports have shown that studies of Salvia Divinorum and Salvinorin A might lead to other drugs that could be used to treat serious degenerative illnesses.
Not bad for a naturally occurring hallucinogenic plant!
